Flacks Group has acquired the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Augusta, Georgia.
The 182-room full-service property is located on Perimeter Parkway, just off Interstate 20, near the entrance to Augusta National Golf Club. The hotel features meeting and event space, a restaurant and bar, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and a range of business amenities.
The transaction was brokered by Marcus & Millichap.
Flacks Group is planning a comprehensive renovation and repositioning program for the property, including a full guestroom redesign, upgrades to public areas and meeting spaces, as well as enhancements to food and beverage offerings. Additional improvements to building systems and back-of-house operations are also planned to strengthen the asset’s long-term performance.
The acquisition builds on Flacks Group’s existing presence in Augusta, where it already owns the Crowne Plaza North Augusta.
